In the previous chapter, we covered the Pyro and Nexus force and their multiverse spading feud. In this chapter, I will explain the rare concept known as "Inversion" and how it pertains to the Pyroes and Nexuses. Before we begin  I will have to explain the what Inversion in a more textbook term. Inversion is the action of inverting something or the state of being inverted. This means a polarizing opposing form from the original state, in this case, for Pyroes and Nexuses, its means for an inversion in their personality and morals. Naturally, a Pyro and a Nexus stands as already opposites to one another as one stands for Heroic Good, the other must stand for Chaotic Evil. But what if I told you that was not always the case?

In some universes, there are moments where a Pyro and Nexus could both have a form on inversion where their morals and personality are changed to opposite sides of good and evil. Granted the Pyro Force and the Nexus Force are universal opposites to one another they are not inherently good or evil, and in some cases it shows that a Pyro became a Nexus though some form of corruption. Thus these inversions result in a Pyro( or Nexus)  who have become corrupted but retained their ties to their respective cosmic forces.

The rare inverted Pyroes and Nexuses are just as powerful as their non inverted counter parts but also run the risk of being hostile to others versions of their selves in their respective force alignments. An Inverted Pyro is known as a Ragnarok, taken from the Nordic tale of the deaths of the gods, the name Ragnarok was first coined in Universe 818 as that Universe's Pyro sought to eradicate all costumed Heroes and Villains from the Universe  while taking on said name. This was also seen in  Universe 161 as that Universe was split in to 4 separate time lines with one having the Pyro become corrupted by a outside force resulting in him becoming overwhelmed with power that he couldn't control.

Meanwhile a Inverted Nexus is called an Aeon in comparison to the word Eon(one Billion years). Aeons usually try to preserve time and space instead of using it for their own ends with out thinking of the ramifications. One such example comes once again in Universe 818 as that Universe's Nexus too on the name Aeon to stop Ragnarok from destroying Universe Prime. This was also featured in Universe 110 as Nexton Xavier was an officer of the Astro Evaluation Overseer Network, though he initially a Heroic good character , he began to shift towards Neutral and ultimately fell to Evil after an accident resulted in a re-inversion turning him to adopt the name Nexus.

Now there is one more chapter before we begin explaining individual universe and the stories and characters in them. In the next chapter ,I will explain the ultimate form of line shift known as an Event Horizon.
